“The Best of luck Dearest, All Best Wishes, A very Happy Birthday to My Darling Sweetheart…I Love You Darling always from George.”
The inside of the sweetest 1930s birthday card I’ve ever found. The heart of x’s was made by George’s pen as well. I love that men used to pour out their affections like this. Also, I imagine George as having dark wavy hair, and a really nice sweater.
Okay, this is now officially one of my absolute favorite photos! This is gonna be framed and hanged on my wall, anything else would be a disgrace. I mean come on, look at it! It’s perfect :’)
WHERE did you find this? I think I’ve just fallen in love…
LOVE THIS! <3

“What it felt like to be so wanted, so adored! No one had ever felt like that about me. It was all so dramatic, too. Always in the wee small hours when it seemed to Bogie and me that the world was ours - that we were the world. At those times were were.”

“As long as you live, know this: If you care for a man, really care, there is only one thing you can give him that has value. It is not a thing of money or pride, intelligence, or position. But it’s the greatest thing you can offer as a woman. Just say, quite simply, “Have I told you today how much I love you?”” - Deborah Kerr
she was a wise woman indeed.
One of the many reasons she’s among my greatest role models.♥
Ah, that is such a beautiful, wonderful and, more importantly, true statement. Why do women wait for their man to tell them they love them? Ms Kerr was such an amazing woman and she truly understood human beings, which was why she was a magnificent actress.
